Twilight Tower

Population: 23

Twilight Tower is a Camp for scientific study. The camp has the most comprehensive data on astral anomalies and space from the perspective of Dual Convergence residences.
The current team of scientist that live there have devised a complex system of tracking stars and navigating through 3D space with a sonar type of location where sound waves are bounced at a solar system to gain a reflective sound map of other galaxies planet distances as well as black holes. Other activities conducted from this location are satellite photography, weather tracking, weather fluctuations and geographical mapping and cartography.

The Twilight Tower camp features three buildings. A barracks for living quarters that the current scientific team use to sleep and eat. This is where the every day living and domestic aspects of their lives are carried out. It also gives them some time to entertain them selves when not conducting studies.

The Data center is where all findings are collected and gathered and cross-referenced with information from the past. The data center is an open information center that shares findings with universities around the planet.

The Tower itself has a Glass dome for Professional and amateur stargazers and a large Micro electron telescope that can see vast distances and has been further enhanced with satellites telescopic satellites that circle the Planet. Another feature of the glass dome is that it acts as 3D holographic mapping projector allowing realistic views of areas mapped out by past researches.

Most of the Scientists recruited for the Twilight tower project are select from Universities from around the Dual Convergence planet. Those with Doctorates and a keen interest in the mysteries of space are always welcome to the site to participate in independent studies as well.

The Twilight Tower gets some of the funding from public tours and licensing its data out to universities. The rest of the funding comes from governments and wealthy business owners that may need specific data on certain areas.

The Camp also has ten outlet stations that can provide electrical power to 40 campers. Those that do camp out for prolong periods have a shared water pump location and out house. These Outlets are located a fair distance away from the buildings to minimize any disturbances to those working in the tower and resting in the barracks. All campers are required to register for $20 to gain access to one of the power outlets. Failure to register at the camping grounds results in a $300 fee as well as a possible arrest for theft and trespassing. These rules are in place to protect guest. The twilight Tower is in close proximity to Creep Field and wild life often see camp grounds as a free packed lunch. A person being lost or never found in the wild is quite common.

Guest that want to camp with out power can do so for free, on a first come first serve basis. It is suggested that they register with local rangers or scientist in Twilight Tower. The rule of safety is always recommended.
