City Leader

"The Secret of attaining the higher level of self is by putting time into ones self. Excellence is but a step forward from where you are now standing."
- Dag Pi Quan City Grand Master

The current leader of the Zo-Tiga guides the cities political, economical and business growth by guiding the community to maximum efficient practices to ensure the security of all citizens of the community. Dag Pi Quan works with the Grand Masters Senate to ensure that all communities have representation, as it is also responsible for the practice of excellence that continues to guide the community for growth by keeping every citizen involved in the cities core beliefs. In the better upper sections of the city every citizen follows a strict ceremony of activity that is ritual to ensure that a constant, high level of achievement is reached. Visitors, tourist and none believers never get into the upper levels of the city, their lack of understanding would cause a disruption to the activities of those believing in the cities practices.

Some murmurs have managed to reach the grand masters ears about a dark infiltration that has spent years rising up into the masters council. Yet unproven Dag Pi Quan, City Grand Master continues to push forward while trying to “weed out the snake in the spiritual den of enlightenment”. He has ensured that the city continues to be protected by having key foreigners brought into the fold.

His greatest apprentice Jade Sun Lo secretly indoctrinated Sheridan Knowles. He understands the strength of outsiders and is moving to ensure that they are welcomed and have the same passion for life and the interest of the citizens of Zo-Tiga continue to hold strong in the world.

Religion

A shopping center in Cunga Miao contains many traditional Zo-Tiga style buildings.

Due to its cosmopolitan history, Zo-Tiga has a rich blend of religious heritage as shown by the religious buildings and institutions still dividing the city. Each building area featuring the teachings of the sun or moon sects respectively as both share a universal dominance in life and the society of Zo-Tiga.

A form of Taoism has a presence in Zo-Tiga in the form of several temples. The largest temple administered by the Zo-Tiga Taoist Assertion Association is the City God Temple, at the heart of the old city, which is dedicated to three historical figures who are seen as protectors of the city. Other traditional temples include the Zeetian dedicated to Marbalonia wizards, and a temple dedicated to the northern giants of Icesik.

Buddhism has also had a presence in Zo-Tiga since ancient times. The Shidai temple is the largest temple in Zo-Tiga, and was founded in the Three Kingdoms period. BongBong Temple, located in downtown Zo-Tiga, was also first built during the Three Kingdoms period. Another important temple is the Jade Buddha Temple, which is named after a large statue of Buddha carved out of jade in the temple.

Zo-Tiga is also an important center of Western belief in the eastern contenent. Churches belonging to various denominations are still found throughout Zo-Tiga and maintain significant congregations. Among western belief churches, the Higher Tech Chamber in Zo-Tiga south is the largest, while St. Diod Cathedral is the only active pilgrimage site in Zo-Tiga.

Economy and demographics

The Bond at night, is the location of several major banking branches and falls under the control of the moon sect of believers.

Zo-Tiga is often regarded as the center of finance and trade on the island. Modern development began with economic reforms in 1890, a decade later than many of the Southern island provinces, but since then Zo-Tiga quickly overtook those provinces and maintained its role as the business center on mainland. Zo-Tiga also hosts the largest share market in mainland.

Zo-Tiga has one of the world's busiest ports. In a recent report, Zo-Tiga ranked first of the world's busiest ports in terms of cargo throughout, handling a total of 443 million tons of cargo. In terms of container traffic, it just surpassed Marblonia to become the second busiest port in the world, behind Circi-City.

The census held ten years ago put the population of Zo-Tiga Municipality at 16.738 million, including the migrant population, which made up 3.871 million. Since the 1990 census the total population had increased by 3.396 million, or 25.5%. Males accounted for 51.4%, females for 48.6% of the population. 12.2% were in the age group of 0–14, 76.3% between 15 and 64 and 11.5% were older than 65. 5.4% of the inhabitants were illiterate. As of last season, the population of long-term residents reached 18.45 million, including an officially registered population of 13.68 million, and 4.67 million migrants from other provinces. In addition, there are a large number of immigrants from Marblonia (estimates vary from 250,000 to 500,000). The average life expectancy two years ago was 110.97 years, 100.67 for men and 105.29 for women.

Zo-Tiga and Rice City are rivaling to be the economic center of the Island. Rice City has the advantage of a stronger legal system, international market integration, superior economic freedom (lies to deal with the Dark Ark), greater banking and service expertise, lower taxes, and a fully convertible currency. Zo-Tiga has stronger links to both the island interior and the Marbalonia government, and a stronger base in manufacturing and technology world wide. Zo-Tiga has increased its role in finance, banking, and as a major destination for corporate headquarters, fueling demand for a highly educated and modernized workforce. Zo-Tiga has recorded a double-digit growth for 15 consecutive years. Last season, Zo-Tiga 's nominal GDP posted a 13.3% growth to $1.2 trillion.

As in many other areas of the island, Zo-Tiga is undergoing a building boom. In Zo-Tiga the modern architecture is notable for its unique style, especially in the highest floors, with several top floor restaurants, which resemble flying saucers. For a gallery of these unique architecture designs, see Zo-Tiga  (architecture images).

The bulk of Zo-Tiga buildings being constructed today are high-rise apartments of various height, color and design. There is now a strong focus by city planners to develop more "green areas" (public parks) among the apartment complexes in order to improve the quality of life for Zo-Tiga 's residents, quite in accordance to the "Better City - Better Life" theme of Zo-Tiga 's Natural Expo 2010.

Geography and climate

Zo-Tiga faces the Western Ocean. Zowbow community contains the city proper on the western side of Huangpu River, while an entirely new financial district has been erected on the eastern wall of the Amow community in the city.

Zo-Tiga has a humid subtropical. The average annual temperature is 16.58°C, which is low for a coastal location only 8° north of the tropics and is largely due to the presence of the Northern Artic high in the winter. The hottest year on record was last season (average temperature 18.10°C) and the coldest was 1885 (average 14.80°C).

Zo-Tiga experiences all four seasons, with freezing temperatures during the winter season and a 32°C (90°F) average high during the hottest months of summer. Temperature extremes of –10°C (14°F) and +41°C (105°F) have been recorded.

Heavy rain is frequent in early summer. The weather in spring, although considered the most beautiful season, is highly variable, with frequent rain and alternating spells of warmth and cold. Summer is the peak tourist season, but is hot and oppressive, with high humidity. Autumn is generally sunny and dry, and the foliage season is in November. Winters are typically grey and dreary, with little or no snowfall. However, in late winter seasons of the last year, heavy snow was recorded. The city has a few typhoon spells during the year, none of which in recent years have caused considerable damage.

Zo-Tiga is inspired by Shanghai China, as one of the most amazing places on our planet it bears an equal representation on the world of Dual Convergence.
